  • Available on Insiders

You can now export and import tenant configurations in EasyLife 365 Collaboration Configuration. This makes it faster, safer, and more consistent to sync settings across dev, test, and production environments. Sensitive data is masked automatically, and manual copy-paste is officially retired.

What’s new?

1. Export Tenant Configuration with Masked Sensitive Data

Export complete configuration sets while EasyLife 365 automatically detects and masks secrets or credentials. No more surprises or security risks.

2. Placeholder Prompts for Sensitive Fields

During export, EasyLife 365 Collaboration flags sensitive properties and replaces them with placeholders. These placeholders are then clearly marked for input during import.

3. Import Configuration with Controlled Placeholder Replacement

When importing, users are prompted to enter the correct environment-specific values. Placeholders are safely replaced, ensuring the right data lands in the right place.

4. Clear Feedback on Excluded or Replaced Items

Both export and import steps now show transparent logs detailing what was excluded (like Approvals) and which fields were swapped with placeholders.
