Team
The Team section allows you to configure and apply settings specific to a newly provisioned Microsoft Team.
Channels
To add predefined channels:
- Click the Add a channel button under Channels.
- Enter a name for each channel in the Title field.
- Use the delete icon to remove a channel.
- Use the up/down arrows to reorder channels.
Channel Type
For each channel, select its type from the drop-down under the title:
- Standard (default)
- Private
- Shared
Tabs
To configure tabs within a channel:
- Click Configure Tabs → Add a tab.
- Provide a name in the Tab title field.
- Select a tab type from the drop-down under Tab type.
If the provisioning action includes a OneNote or Planner, you can link them by selecting the corresponding tab type.
Supported tab types include:
- OneNote
- Planner
- PDF file
- Word file
- Excel file
- PowerPoint file
- SharePoint library
- Channel Calendar
- External website
note
To add tabs to the General channel, you must explicitly add a channel named General.
Extensibility
To trigger an external process after the Team provisioning is completed:
- Enter the webhook URL in the Webhook field.
A POST request will be issued upon completion.
