Team

The Team section allows you to configure and apply settings specific to a newly provisioned Microsoft Team.

Channels

To add predefined channels:

  • Click the Add a channel button under Channels.
  • Enter a name for each channel in the Title field.
  • Use the delete icon to remove a channel.
  • Use the up/down arrows to reorder channels.

Channel Type

For each channel, select its type from the drop-down under the title:

  • Standard (default)
  • Private
  • Shared

Tabs

To configure tabs within a channel:

  • Click Configure TabsAdd a tab.
  • Provide a name in the Tab title field.
  • Select a tab type from the drop-down under Tab type.

If the provisioning action includes a OneNote or Planner, you can link them by selecting the corresponding tab type.
Supported tab types include:

  • OneNote
  • Planner
  • PDF file
  • Word file
  • Excel file
  • PowerPoint file
  • SharePoint library
  • Channel Calendar
  • External website
note

To add tabs to the General channel, you must explicitly add a channel named General.

Extensibility

To trigger an external process after the Team provisioning is completed:

  • Enter the webhook URL in the Webhook field.
    A POST request will be issued upon completion.
